1975 Guild D35 w/HSC
An absolutely killer guitar from the days of OG Guild production in Westerly Rhode Island! These can be described as a bit of a “little known secret” guitar, and easily keeps up with similar Martins of the era for much less money. This player grade example would make an excellent stage companion, with plenty of volume and a rich lower mid end; with a truly sweet tone that only aged wood can bring.
It has some repaired cracks in the top, however structurally it is good to go and plays well with no issues. The string height is nice up the neck, being around 6/64” at the 12th fret. The frets show some wear from play over the years, however pose no playability issues and exhibit no undue buzz or fret outs.
It is overall in good playing condition, with nicks, scratches, and other forms of wear/signs of use from play. It shows some finish checking, particularly on the top.
This one is one of the nicer examples that I have played, and it is sure to impress anyone that picks it up!
