Peavey Foundation Bass 1987 (USA Made) w/ HSC
A super cool piece of Peavey history! From the prime era that saw quality American production, this USA made Foundation bass stands out with a great flamed maple neck, matching white finished headstock, and OG style triangular string tree!
The pickups in this one sound very nice, with the ability to be blended, along with a master tone. It has a toploader bridge, and the saddles are nice and beefy for improved sustain. Locking strap pegs are installed, and the corresponding strap components come installed in a very cool OG Peavey strap which will be included in the sale. Also included is the original Peavey hardshell case.
The bass is in nice shape overall, with some miscellaneous dings/scratches to the body and headstock; however nothing offensive or undue on a 35+ year old bass that has seen some stage use. There is a small finish crack on the headstock to the left of the trussrod cover, however this is purely cosmetic and there are no cracks in the actual wood itself.
It is an awesome player with a speedy neck; the body is a comfortable shape, and it is well balanced. It is currently setup with flatwounds, and overall is a great feeling bass!
Why blend into the sea of CV Squiers and Epiphones? This OG Peavey will set you apart and sound great doing it!
