Peavey USA TL-Six
Here's a rare find! The Peavey USA TL-Six was a premium bass guitar designed for discerning musicians who demand excellence. Crafted in the USA, this six-string boasts a sleek, ergonomic design that ensures comfort during extended play. A signature Tim Landers model, the Six offers a nicely shaped neck that makes handling the extra strings a breeze. This is one from the heyday of Peavey, with impeccable build quality still evident even after 30+ years professional use.
It features 3-band active electronics, and sounds nice and unique. The neck is very wide, and the strings are spaced well apart making it ideal for slapping. The neck is multipiece with neck-through construction, with a cool carbon fiber headstock overlay. The fretboard is ebony, with unique triangular inlays.
It comes to us in well-played condition, however with no functional or structural issues. There are miscellaneous dings/scuffs/scratches throughout, though nothing hideous that wouldn't be expected on professional musician's workhorse. The finish on the edges of the fretboard has some issues as pictured, where fret sprout has caused the finish to "bubble". This has been filed down about as much as it could be without completely removing the finish. It is mostly smooth and doesn't impact playability, however worth noting. Overall this one feels great to play, and is a very cool piece of Peavey history!
No case.
