Musitronics Mu-Tron Phasor II
Up for grabs is a sweet sounding, desireable Mutron Phasor from the mid 70s. Many are familiar with Musitronics and the Mu-Tron through their association with Jerry Garcia- and while this one is not his better know envelope filter, it is an absolutely great sounding phaser in it's own right. The swells are deep and lush, and it's capable of a fast, almost tremolo-like rate, as well as a slow modulation that adds some nice dimension to your playing.
It comes to us in fairly typical used condition for a pedal of its age; showing some scuffs, paint chips, and other signs of use. It functions well as it should, with the original two prong power cable intact. It dates to approx. late 1976, with its Schumacher transformer showing from the 47th week of '76.
As an added bonus, included is a vintage “Sharpen Your Axe With Mu-Tron Sounds” sticker - which likely came with this when it was sold new. I have never seen one of these intact with the unit before, and definitely something you’d rarely find in the wild.
