Gibson Les Paul Special 2002
The Gibson Les Paul Special is a classic guitar that epitomizes the renowned craftsmanship and rich legacy of Gibson.
This Les Paul Special features a solid mahogany body and neck, providing a warm, resonant tone that is perfect for a variety of musical styles, from blues and rock to jazz and country. The guitar is equipped with dual humbuckers, which deliver a bright, punchy sound with plenty of midrange presence and clarity. It has a rosewood fingerboard, offering a smooth playing experience and adding to the overall tonal richness of the instrument. With its vintage-style hardware, including a tune-o-matic bridge and vintage tuners, it not only looks the part but also ensures reliable tuning stability and intonation. Whether you are a seasoned professional or an enthusiastic beginner, this one is a versatile and reliable choice that will inspire your playing and stand the test of time.
It comes to us in overall player-grade condition; with no cracks or issues of that sort. It looks nice on the stand with a bit of wear to it's ebony Nitro finish. There are some miscellaneous dings on the top and sides, including a decent sized one at the top of the horn (as pictured). There is a fair amount of belt rash on the back, although it is only in the clear coat and hasn't worn through the actual finish. It appears to be all original with the exception of the switch cover panel, which was replaced by us. It comes in at 8.7lbs on our scale.
It has been setup with D'Addario XL 10-46's, and is all set to find its next stage!
