Samick JTR Marie MR10

Check this one out! Here we have a somewhat unique guitar, a short-lived colab produced by Samick and designed by guitar guru J.T. Riboloff. It reminds me quite a bit of Fender/Squier's "51" which combines Tele characteristics with a strat body. This one has a nice and speedy neck; with a slightly wider nut, D profile neck, and 22 frets. The electronics are essentially that of a Nashville Tele, with 2 blusey Tele neck pickups along with the classically twangy bridge. The 5 way switching gives you some great variety along with two noise cancelling posotions ala Strat. The semi-transparent blonde finish and single-ply black guard are clearly a nod to Telecasters of the 50's, and give this guitar something of a special cosmetic appeal.

It comes to us in nice shape both mechanically and cosmetically, showing only signs of gentle play. The finish shows nicely and has no major dings through the finish. The pickups in this one sound great, and is sure to please those looking for classic Tele like tones in a cool and different package!
