Squier X-155
Up for grabs today is a very sweet and somewhat uncommon Squier! The X-155 is a full blown jazz box with open humbuckers, and a warm sweet tone. It has the typical scale length of 24.75" to suit this style, and the pickups are clear and articulate Duncan Designed units. The trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge add to warmth and resonance. The inlays are neat looking, being acrylic with a diagonal stripe of pearloid - giving a bit of a deco vibe remenescent of the old Epiphone Broadways.
It comes to us in nice shape, showing only minor signs of use (see photos). The frets have plenty of life left, and overall the guitar presents quite nicely. It has been restrung and setup yielding a nice and low string height of around 5/64th at the 12th fret, and it is a real joy to play!
Includes original Squier hardshell case.
