Silvertone Model 1482

A sweet recording amp! This mid 60's Silvertone 1482 sounds great with guitar or harmonica, with a unique boxy tone that crunches up nicely as you increase the volume. Think tweed Princeton for a fraction of the price! This one would be terrific for bar gigs on the harp - producing about 5 watts - or with a mic in front has been known to produce excellent studio tones.

It has been gone through recently, and has received a new Eminence Legend speaker - which really helps this one open up and give it a touch more volume. It works well as it should, with no excessive floor noise. What appears to be the original power tubes are present, as well as one Silvertone preamp tube - which is made in Holland, likely being a rebranded Amperex, and the other an old American made Raytheon. This one has a tone of mojo, and only needs a new owner!
