Epiphone Traditional Pro Les Paul

A very solid offering from Epiphone! This wallet friendly model offers a high level of playability with traditional Les Paul adornments such as body and fretboard binding, trapezoid inlays, and a beautiful gloss finish sunburst top; as well as some functional features such as push-pull volume knobs that allow pickup coil splitting.

This one features lower-output zebra humbuckers, which produce nice "paf-ish" tone, a 12" radius rosewood fretboard, mahogany neck and body with maple top, and the traditional tune-o-matic bridge. Possibly the best thing about this guitar is the neck, which is a nice C shape reminiscent of Les Pauls of yesterday. It has a nice feel in the hand, with a good amount of heft while still feeling speedy. The tuners have been swapped out with high quality nickel Grover units, which both function well and look correct with the tulip shaped keys.

It comes to us in overall good condition, with some "creative" liberties taken by it's previous owner; the back of the neck has been stripped, and it feels quite smooth and easy to play while giving a "road worn" look. The back of the guitar has been gone over with some type of gold paint. That aside, the guitar still looks good from on the stand, and has no issues impacting playability or tone.

It has received a cleaning, and has been setup with a fresh set of GHS Boomer 10-46 strings yielding a nice string height of about 4/64" at the 12 fret.
Whether you're a budding rocker or a seasoned professional, this Traditional Pro is the perfect addition to your collection!
