Here's one you certianly don't see everyday! With classic Strat body shape and neck, this model adds a unique brace-less graphite top for great resonance as well as a 3 piece Fishman piezo system. This example comes to us with a striking Crimson Red Transparent finish and rosewood fretboard. It provides an awesome marriage of acoustic tones with modern Strat playability!
Specs are quite similar to any other 2000s Strat in terms of feel, with a 9.5" radius fretboard, medium jumbo frets, C neck profile, and 1.6875" nut width. The Fishman pickup system is unique, with an onboard preamp and controls built into the bridge. While the top is a unique composite graphite, the remainder of the body is Alder in typical Fender fashion. Compared to the recent Acoustasonic models, this one represents an awesome value along with a more traditionally contoured body.
Cosmetically it is in overall nice shape, with some minor dings/scuffs from general play over the years. There is a poly check on the treble side of the neck pocket in the typical Strat area; this is only in the finish and is purely cosmetic. It is a nicely playing alternative to a traditional acoustic guitar, particularly for stage use!
