The Quad Comp/Gate from Mackie is a four-channel rack-mount digital compressor/gate designed for use in live sound applications. Its compression/limiting and gating/expansion algorithms were written to provide a very wide range of high-quality, instantly usable settings. With ninety-nine user definable snapshots the Quad Comp/Gate makes it much easier to get consistently fast, great-sounding mixes versus using analog compressor/gates.
